Police's message to someone who's lost cannabis plants

By by iomtoday.co.im in Crime

The police have issued a cheeky request on Facebook after some cannabis plants were found.

It reads: ’Calling green fingers are you missing some cannabis plants?

’We have them safely stored at Ramsey police station.

’If you would like to come and collect your plant pots please call in to Ramsey police station. (We’ll keep the plants).’

@Boy Mulcaster, I'm calling bullshit on that. Maybe there are a few specially-bred varieties or batches tainted with other chemicals that can have negative effects, but I've really never seen any of it. The effects you describe come from using alcohol and these legal highs - not cannabis. Have you ever been to Amsterdam? I can assure you it is not a city of paranoid, indolent, sexually-dysfunctional morons. I'd like to see your evidence along with sources an who paid for it to be compiled...

We should take a "Leaf" (no pun intended) from the Canadian book and legalize this herb. Rock on Tommy!

Boy Mulcaster thanks for the opportunity, "Psychosis, memory problems, anxiety, panic, risk of stroke / heart attack, sexual problems, decline in IQ, relationship problems.." Sounds great, but I don't really like Red Bull. " I see the true effects of this cannabinoid almost every week" Is this after they start injecting marihuanas or when they set fire up those marihuanas cones ? "Don’t listen to anyone" And don't read anything that's scientific or factual presumably.

I notice that although some 'legal highs' are now illegal yet the most common, Senocots, have not been mentioned. It is little known that OD'ng on them, typically taking ten to fifteen at once, results in an unforgettable experience.

Ramsey Police are having a laff. They should know very well who the plants belong to as they have been told by many citizens who are totally pi..... off with the massive availability of both Cannabis and hard drugs which is wrecking the lives of families all over the IOM. Get off your backside and start closing them down as you are paid to do.

by all means use it medicinally in certain cases (not by smoking it) but the only potheads ive ever known forgot to wash - it's a good excuse to opt out of facing up to life that's about all

it also causes Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and emphysemia just like smoking cigarettes; I had misfortune to sit next to someone who stank of smoke other day and within seconds I felt like someone had kicked me in the chest. People who have to resort to smoking anything are not evolved they cant be they wouldn't put that stuff into their bodies

@boy mulcaster. You're describing alcohol very well there.

" Psychosis, memory problems, anxiety, panic, risk of stroke / heart attack, sexual problems, decline in IQ, relationship problems, antisocial behaviour…" Obviously most people once elected to The Keys must very soon become pot heads.

Psychosis, memory problems, anxiety, panic, risk of stroke / heart attack, sexual problems, decline in IQ, relationship problems, antisocial behavior…. I could go on Spock. I see the true effects of this cannabinoid almost every week in my professional life and I’m furious when I see these casual one-liners “legalise it”. Make no mistake, this drug causes long term physiological and social problems. Don’t listen to anyone – no matter how well educated – that advocates legalisation.

They say they'll keep the plants, but not what they're going to do with them... LEGALISE IT! There's no good reason not to!

Spook · 4 days ago · Report

Disgraceful. Those plants need watering, feeding, and sunlight. They're not safely stored all.
